In case you missed it, comeback kid and feel-good story Rick Ankiel was tabbed this morning in a New York Daily News story as a recipient of a 12–month supply of HGH in 2004. One reporter in the story’s byline, TJ Quinn, is the same guy who broke the story this winter about Barry Bonds being linked to a positive amphetamine test and initially blaming it on something he took from Mark Sweeney’s locker.
That is a good article. It's fascinating to watch all of my friends back in St. Louis jumping through logical hoops trying to rationalize this thing...and to a Giants fan, of course, all too familiar. Welcome to the big shades-of-grey world of 21st century baseball, Cardinals fans.
