Then we broke the news: the Giants last made the playoffs in 2003 and might not do so for many years to come. Even worse, the Rockies were in the World Series.
“The Whosies? What you talkin’ about, Big Papi Malo?”
She got over it, but the experience left her cynical, angry, and paranoid, just like our Vice President. She’s working on her impression.
If you squint, she also looks a bit like Matt Cain, which I hope isn’t true (for either her sake or Matt Cain’s sake) by the time spring training starts.
