Kudos to my main man Depressed Fan for finding and posting this image. DF points out that Rose thinks steroids and amphetamines aren't the same. Other former ballplayers who took speed, such as Jim Bouton of Ball Four fame, also perform the same mental gymnastics when decrying today's crisis. Like I've said, no asterisks for the steroid era unless there's a way to find the speed users of past decades and mark all their records, too.
