Oops, I’ve got Manny on the brain. I meant the Giants’ 40–man roster, which for a few days has had 41. And that’s just not right.
Lo and behold, today it’s back to 40, the natural order of things has been restored, and Ivan Ochoa has gone missing. Look under your sofa cushions, and I’ll check the lint screen in the dryer.
This is what I guessed and you agreed with me on the NcCoven. Last week I accually sent a mail bag question to Chris Haft at sfgiants.com to have him check this out and perhaps this correction is a result of this. I assume I will find out when he posts his next mail bag.
Here is proof that the Giants re-signing of Ivan Ochoa on Oct 30 was indeed to a minor league contract and thus he never should have been re-added to the 40 Man Roster.
