Thoughts after watching all three innings:
* His body is big and his motion home is easy.
* He works fast.
* He struck out Juan Pierre looking on a curveball, but most of his strikes, called and swinging, came from the fastball.
* He wasn't really fooling batters, just powering through them. There weren't a lot of bad or broken-down swings except for Doug Mientkiewicz in the second inning. In fact, a lot of batters had good hacks at pitches that caught a lot of plate, but they fouled them straight back or the opposite way.
